David has been giving talks and presenting workshops for SNHG for over 10 years now and we always look forward to welcoming him back.

It is now over 10 years since he first published How The Mind Can Heal The Body and a second edition came out recently.   So much more research has been done in the intervening years and much more is now understood about the Mind/Body connection.  We felt it was time to invite David to remind us all of our capability to change our lives for the better.

David has a PhD in organic chemistry and spent 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry, developing drugs for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect, he left the industry to write books and educate people in how they can harness their mind and emotions to improve their health.

He is now author of 10 books, including, ‘The Little Book of Kindness’, ‘How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body’, ‘I Heart Me’ and the Amazon bestseller, ‘The Five Side Effects of Kindness’. He writes a regular blog on his website and occasional blogs for the Huffington Post (US version). David is the ‘Kindness Tsar’ for Psychologies Magazine and writes ‘The Kindness Conversation’ and the ‘Kindness Project’. He is also the ‘Life Hacks’ monthly columnist for Soul & Spirit Magazine and in 2016, he was voted ‘Best writer’ by readers of Kindred Spirit Magazine. David is featured in the award-winning documentary, ‘HEAL’. He appears regularly in the media and was recently featured on Channel 4’s live show, ‘Sunday Brunch’, in the UK and ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ in the USA.

David is an advocate for kindness and is working passionately to help inspire a kinder world.

HUMAN DESIGN - Unlocking the power within your own personal design

19 August 2019

Tuesday 15th October

Guest Speaker: Jon Critoph, Trans4formational Change

Human Design has been described as the instruction manual we have all been looking for.  Working from data such as date, time and place of birth we are able to produce a Bodygraph that will unique to you.

Jon will guide us through the basics of Human Design (it is an ever evolving and growing subject area) looking at what we can learn about ourselves and how we can start to understand and maybe even start to read others and interact with them in slightly different ways and see how things change.

Learn why you never tell a Manifesting Generator not to do something – why you need to watch a Projector asking questions continuously and every answer generates more questions – especially if you have a train to catch!  Just like a box of tools, when you know what each one does and how to use it, life is a lot smoother.  Human Design and our individual uniqueness are just the same.

Venue: Oliver Bird Hall, Church Hill Road, Solihull, B91 3RQ

Time:   Doors open 7pm with refreshments served until talk commences at 7.45pm

Cost: £5 Members/£8 Visitors
